District schools are still lagging behind in uploading student data on e-Shiksha Kosh. As per the total number of students, even 10 percent of students’ data has not been uploaded yet. As Aadhaar card is mandatory for uploading data, the number of students is decreasing. However, the data has not been uploaded yet. Data of only 55,000 students out of six lakh students in the district has been uploaded.
Manish Kumar Singh, Program Officer of Holistic Education of the Education Department has issued instructions to all Block Education Officers, Block Resource Workers, Project Managers etc. In which he said that the updated entry of students studying in class 1 to 12 in the current academic session will have to be done on the e-Shiksha Kosh portal. In this regard, five computer teachers of the block have already been trained in March 2024. In all these circumstances it has to be completed by June 15.
Regarding this, MIS in-charge Arun Kumar Akela said that this time students’ Aadhaar cards are also to be entered in it, so there is some delay in it. He said that so far 55000 data have been uploaded. Not only this, students’ profiles have to be entered in schools where ICT labs have been set up.

After the government’s notification to enter children’s Aadhaar card, there is concern especially among parents whose children are studying in government and private schools.
