Good news for Agniveer, BSF and paramilitary personnel

DU has made provision for fee waiver for Agniveer on his admission to the School of Open Learning. The admission process in the School of Open Learning has started from Monday. Director Prof. Payal Mago said that for retired army personnel, including firemen, BSF and existing paramilitary personnel, Rs. 25 to Rs. A fee relaxation of up to 75 is provided. The fee for its various subjects is Rs. 8320 to Rs. 21 thousand, which has to be deposited at the time of admission.

They also benefit
– PWBD category students have to pay Rs 130 only. They are exempted from all types of fees
– Orphan students have to pay Rs.20 at the time of admission. They are exempted from all types of fees
– Armed Forces-Central Police: Fee Exemption to Armed Forces personnel.

– 75 fee exemption for serving employees (excluding university fees)

Retired employees (not retired before 5 years) will get 50% fee waiver (excluding university fees).

– 25 fee concession for children of employees (excluding university fees)

– Full fee waiver (except university fees) for transgender students

– 50 percent fee waiver for SOL or university employees and ad-hoc, contractual employees

Admission in DU starts under CES
Delhi University has invited applications for the Qualification Enhancement Scheme (CES) for admission to the first, third and fifth semesters for the July-December 2024 academic session. DU has also reduced its fees this time.

Director of DU’s Institute of Life Long Learning Prof. Sanjay Roy said that the aim of this scheme is to fulfill the educational dreams of people who due to some reasons could not get this opportunity earlier. Last year his fee for two papers was Rs. 20 thousand, which people said is more. Now this fee has been reduced to 6 thousand rupees per paper.
