Students can also take admission in three-year undergraduate courses at IIT Patna through hybrid (online and offline) mode without JEE Main and Advanced. Two new full time courses have been launched by the institute in hybrid mode. In this, students will not only get admission on JEE Main score, but students can get admission in two courses by participating in IIT Patna’s special exam SAT. These two courses are B.Sc (Hons)- Computer Science and Data Analytics and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

Eligibility for Three Year UG Hybrid Program – B.Sc (Hons.) should have minimum 10 plus 2 in science stream for CSDA and 60 marks in all streams for BBA. Also recognized scores, ranks in national, state level entrance examinations (ie JEE (Main), NEET, CUET, BITSAT, KVPY, NTSE/INSPIRE scholarship holders, state entrance examinations) or recognized scores in international entrance examinations (US (SAT- 1) , SAT-2), UK (BMAT) or IITP-SAT Exam Entrance Test.
