Pakistan needed 18 runs to win in the last over. Arshdeep Singh bowled the first ball of the 20th over to Imad Wasim. The ball hit Imad’s bat and went to Rishabh Pant. There was some drama on the field, but captain Rohit took a review and found that Imad Wasim was out.
20th over, second ball
Now Pakistan needed 18 runs from the remaining five balls. Now there was Naseem Shah opposite Arshdeep Singh. Naseem plays a full length ball towards long off and manages to score a run.
20th over, third ball
Shaheen Shah was facing Afridi on the third ball of Arshdeep Singh. Shaheen tried to play a yorker length ball on the leg side. The ball hit his pad and another run was scored as a leg bye.
20th over, fourth ball
Now the Pakistan team needed 16 runs from the remaining three balls. Arshdeep throws the ball to Naseem. Naseem felt that the ball was going to be a yorker length and he played a great shot and sent the ball over the boundary.
20th over, fifth ball
Now Pakistan needed two sixes in the remaining two balls. Arshdeep flicked the ball away from the off stump to Naseem Shah and Naseem played it towards deep backward point. Kohli dived to the right on the run, but he couldn’t stop it.

20th over, 6th ball
Now Pakistan needed eight runs off the last ball. Indian fans were praying that Arshdeep does not bowl wide or no. However, nothing of the sort happened and Arshdeep bowled a low full toss on the off stump with complete control. With this, India created history by winning the match.
