by JoSAA Counseling 2024 Dates: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the counseling schedule for admission to IITs, NITs, Triple IT in the prestigious institutions of the country. The registration and selection process for JoSAA Counseling 2024 will start on June 10 from 5 PM on the official website josaa.nic.in. Candidates who have qualified JEE Main and JEE Advanced can apply for admission to B.Tech and other courses in National Institute of Technology (NIT), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), IIEST, IIIT and other GFTI technical institutes through JoSAA counselling. . Students have to register to participate in this process. This will require JEE Main application number and password. After this candidates will select the college and course of their choice. The JEE Advanced result will be declared on June 9 at jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates who have qualified for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) can fill their AAT-specific choices from June 14, 2024 after the declaration of AAT result.
JoSAA counseling for NIT+ system will have five rounds with one additional round. Students will be allotted institute and seat based on their rank and preference. Candidates will have the option to withdraw or opt out from the seat allotment process. Last year, there were six rounds of JoSAA counselling. Admission to 23 IITs will be based on JEE Advanced Rank. Whereas, enrollment in other institutes will be based on JEE Main rank.
