JoSAA counselling: With the declaration of JEE Advanced results, JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority – JOSAA) has started counseling for seat allotment from Monday for admissions in 23 IITs of the country including IIT Dhanbad. The process of registration and choice filling will be completed from Monday till June 18. The first round of seat allotment will be held on June 20. In the year 2024, nominations will be taken for 1125 seats in other courses including B.Tech in IIT Dhanbad. Out of this, 115 seats have been earmarked for girls under super numerical quota. In the year 2024 IIT ISM is likely to have allotment of seats up to 25 thousand or more ranks in JEE Advanced 2024. Talking about the last two years trend, the closing rank of IIT Dhanbad in the year 2022 was 23479. The closing rank increased to 24,166 in the year 2023. Due to this reason, it is expected that Dhanbad will get up to 25 thousand rank seats this time. The process of seat allotment will be completed in five rounds.
