NEET PG 2024 Date: National Board of Examination (NBE) has announced the new date of NEET PG exam. The NEET PG exam will now be conducted on 11 August 2024 in two shifts. Earlier the NEET PG exam was scheduled to be held on June 23, 2024 but it was postponed. The Health Ministry had decided to suspend the NEET PG a day before the exam amid the controversy and furor created by the NEET UG and UGC NET paper leaks. It was said that the move was taken as a precautionary measure. More information regarding exam shift will be provided later on at appropriate time. 2 lakh 38 thousand students will participate in this exam.

Let us tell you that this is done for Master of Surgery, Doctor of Medicine and PG Diploma programs. Only candidates who have MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate recognized by Medical Council of India can appear in this exam.

The paper will be set before 2 hours
NBEMS has made strict arrangements to conduct the NEET PG exam with complete transparency and security. In an important meeting held in the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the NEET PG exam, it was decided that the question paper will be set two hours before the exam. This time the Home Ministry will also monitor NITI PG. There will be no scope for paper leaks. It is also being said that the question papers will be generated digitally (securely) on the same morning of the exam. Officials of the Ministry of Health, National Board of Medical Sciences, technical partner Tata Consultancy Services and officials of Cyber ​​Cell participated in this meeting.

NEET PG exam will be online in computer based mode. This exam will be of 3 hours 30 minutes duration. NEET PG There will be 3 sections of the exam. The exam will have a total of 200 multiple choice questions for 800 marks. Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
