Arshdeep Singh was given a hero’s welcome in his hometown on Saturday. His fans and family members garlanded their world champion player and presented bhangras while taking out the procession.
Fast bowler Arshdeep Singh was instrumental in India’s title win in the recent T20 World Cup. He took 17 wickets and is joint-top in the list of highest wicket takers with Afghanistan fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqui. “I want to play in all formats, but right now I just want to enjoy this moment and spend time with my family,” Arshdeep said in a PTI video while traveling in an open car.
