Sarchoturam Engineering College in Chaudhary Charan Singh University campus offers admission in B.Tech in seven branches, M.Tech in two branches, B.Sc Computer Science Honors and MCA. After AKTU counseling in B.Tech and MCA direct admission to vacant seats. Admission to M.Tech and B.Sc Honors Computer Science will be done directly from university level. GATE score will be the eligibility criteria for admission to M.Tech. The college claims that the above courses including B.Tech can be studied in Western UP with minimum fees and hostel costs.
Director Dr. According to Neeraj Singhal, the college continuously focuses on personality development of students through various activities including hackathons, conclaves, sports etc. Students will get admission in total 480 seats in B.Tech Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering branches in the college. First option for admission in B.Tech is to select Sir Chhotu Ram Engineering College from AKTU counselling. In another option, students can enroll directly in the college. The college will give chance to the students enrolled on the basis of merit on vacant seats through counselling. According to the director, admission to 36 seats in M.Tech will be done at college level based on GATE score. M.Tech can be done only in Computer Science and ECE branch. AKTU counseling will also be conducted for 60 seats of MCA and college level merit will be prepared for vacant seats while university level merit will be prepared for B.Sc Computer Science. Entry option at lowest fee
According to Admission Incharge Dr Shivam Goyal, the annual fee of B.Tech is 91 thousand, MCA 56 thousand, M.Tech 70 thousand and B.Sc 32 thousand, which is the lowest in western UP. According to Dr Shivam, students will get the option of hostel facility in the university campus which is the cheapest. All the facilities including the central library of the campus are also available for the students of Sir Chhotu Ram Engineering College.
