North Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024: North Eastern Railway has invited applications for the recruitment of Apprentice posts. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website of NER. Online application can be done through Indianrailways.gov.in. 1104 posts will be filled in North East Railway under this recruitment drive. Currently the registration process is going on. Last date to apply is July 11, 2024.

Educational Qualification- Only those candidates who have passed 10th standard with minimum 50 percent marks from any recognized institute with ITI certificate can apply for Apprenticeship posts.
Age Range- Candidates age should not be less than 15 years and not more than 24 years as on June 12, 2024. SC/ST candidates are given 5 years relaxation in upper age limit. OBC candidates are allowed 3 years relaxation in upper age limit. Maximum age relaxation is 10 years for disabled candidates.
Application Fee- Candidates have to pay 100 rupees as processing fee. SC/ST/PWD (PWBD)/Women candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.
Selection Process- Candidates will be selected based on merit list. Merit metric [न्यूनतम 50% (कुल) अंकों के साथ] And the ITI exam will be designed keeping in mind the average percentage of marks secured by the candidates in both, giving equal importance to both. Document verification will be conducted at Gorakhpur and selected candidates will have to bring copy of online application, medical certificate in prescribed format, 4 passport size photographs, all their original certificates and certificates with verification purpose.
The exam will be like this– Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit considering their average pass percentage marks in Matriculation and marks obtained in ITI examination. Candidates will be screened in Gorakhpur. Candidates will also have to undergo medical examination before final selection.
