The Indian stock market has reached a new high today i.e. on 10th June. Sensex and Nifty registered a huge jump as soon as the trading started. The Sensex was trading up 373.15 points or 0.49 percent at 77,066.51 and the Nifty was trading up 115.40 points or 0.50 percent at 23,405.60. This is the first time Sensex has crossed the 77000 level.
Along with this, a huge surge is being seen in all the shares of Adani Group today. Shares of Adani Power saw the highest gain of 4.36%. Due to which the total market cap of all listed companies of Adani Group is Rs. 17.5 lakh crore has been crossed.
Top gainers on the Nifty in early trade included Adani Ports, Power Grid Corp, Coal India, Bajaj Auto and Shriram Finance. While Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Dr. Reddy’s Labs, LTI Mindtree and Hindalco were among the top losers. At the same time, apart from IT and Metals, all other sectoral indices are witnessing tremendous gains in PSU Bank and Auto shares.
Last week, the BSE Sensex gained 2,732.05 points or 3.69 percent while the Nifty gained 759.45 points or 3.37 percent.
