Read on the application

Students are waiting for one and a half months for degree admissions affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. As the first cutoff is yet to be announced, students are making rounds of colleges for admission. The first cutoff is rumored to be by June 25, but no official announcement has been made by the university. Enrollments are ongoing and the number of students applying is increasing.

Over 11,152 registrations have been made in BA, 3,124 in BCom and over 1,523 in BAAC on the university portal. There is maximum competition for admission in B.A. It is being said that the work on the cutoff is going on fast and it is expected to come this month itself. Aided colleges do not have seats equal to the number of students enrolled. The city’s DAV, Khurja’s NREC and Anupshahr’s DPBS Degree College have the highest enrollment. The principal of IP PG College First Campus said that the admission of students will be started only after the cutoff.

Merit will go up

The merit of district aided colleges will be very high. Percentage will be highest in B.A. While merit is likely to be higher in B.Com and B.Sc as seats in the colleges are less and registrations are more. For a long time the university has given students the opportunity to register, this time there are more than 18 thousand registrations in aided and self finance colleges and the number may increase as applications are still going on. The university may declare the first merit this week.
