Surya’s catch was highly praised

In a phone conversation with Rohit Sharma, PM Modi also praised Surya Kumar Yadav for taking a very difficult catch in the last over, apart from Hardik Pandya and Bumrah’s tight bowling in the death overs. In the last over, Suriya caught David Miller on the boundary off Hardik’s over which almost looked like a six. At that time, South Africa needed 16 runs from 6 balls. PM Modi praised the performance of all the Indian players and extended his best wishes.

Let us tell you that under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, Team India scored 176 runs with the help of Virat Kohli’s brilliant 76 runs. In reply, the South African team could score only 169 runs in the stipulated over. Hardik took the most three wickets. Apart from Hardik, Bumrah and Arshdeep bowled brilliantly in the death overs.
