UP Police Constable Re Exam: After the new examination center allocation policy issued regarding the competitive examinations, shifts may have to be increased in the exams now. The government has invited the list of centers for this year’s UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam. According to the new policy, when the survey was conducted, only 54 government and recognized schools were found in Prayagraj district, which came under the purview of the instructions given. As per the new rule, the examination center can be within a maximum radius of 10 km from bus stand, railway station and treasury. Along with this, various rules have been issued for the examination center. Under which only 54 centers have been found eligible for the examination.
When these schools were surveyed at the district level, it was found that their total examination capacity was 19,644 candidates. When talking about the police recruitment exam last year, more than two lakh 78 thousand candidates gave the exam. The examination conducted in four shifts has the capacity to sit more than 69 thousand candidates in each shift. But after the current survey, 54 schools which have been found eligible to become examination centres, have a single shift capacity of accommodating only 19644 candidates. While the district administration on Thursday got permission for 1400 candidate capacity in Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, 600 candidate capacity in Rajju Bhaiya State University and 500 candidate capacity in Open University Campus.

Officials are currently in touch with Allahabad University. After this, if the capacity of 25 thousand candidates is reached in one shift, if there are around three lakh candidates, the exam may have to be given in around 11 or 12 shifts. In such a situation the shift has to be increased.
