UPPSC Recruitment Exam: To save the recruitment exams from paper leaks, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is now going to do a new experiment. Now preparations are underway to print the question papers of the same recruitment exam from different presses. If sources are to be believed, the commission is considering printing the question papers of each set of the exam separately. According to the order issued by the government, the commission will decide which paper set will be used five hours before the examination. Each set will have multiple categories of question papers prepared and the number of questions under each category will be different, so as to avoid the possibility of duplication.
According to the government order issued, if there are more than five lakh candidates in any recruitment, the exam should be conducted in two shifts. If there are less than five lakh candidates then the commission can conduct the exam in a single shift. However, the order also states that PCS is a specific examination.
The exam should be online and not multiple choice.
The exams conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on multiple choice basis should be conducted in online mode, which will help in smooth conduct of the exam. Prashant Pandey, media in-charge of the Competitive Student Struggle Committee, has written a letter to the Chief Minister and made this demand. It has also been demanded that for any recruitment examination, a command center should be set up at the headquarters of the recruitment institute, which will have access to live CCTV recordings of all examination centres. The Bihar Public Service Commission has done such an experiment in the past. Only government schools and first class schools in urban areas should be made examination centres. It has also been demanded that all question papers should be printed in government presses and not in private printing presses, keeping in mind the privacy and security of the recruitment examinations.
