UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 Exam Analysis: The UPSC Civil Services Exam Prelims 2024 exam was held today on June 16. The General Studies exam was conducted in the morning session from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, while the CSAT paper was conducted from 2.30 pm to 4 pm. Now after the exam is over, here we are going to tell you about the exam analysis. According to students and experts, the standard of UPSC CSE 2024 Prelims exam was moderate. In the exam, questions from Science and Technology and Economy papers were asked in easy to medium range.

In economics section, most of the questions were asked from static/main section and only few questions were asked from current affairs. Students said that Economics section was tough. Along with this, the language of the exam has been simplified this time as compared to earlier.

Let us tell you that 1056 posts will be filled in various services and departments of the Central Government including IAS, IPS, IFS and IRS. 40 posts have been reserved for candidates belonging to disabled category. To pass the General Studies Paper-II of the Civil Services (Prelims) Examination, a minimum of 33 percent marks is required.
